Fans & Spares have been established since 1954 and are one of the largest national Ventilation distributors in the UK, selling to the building services trade and also end users we offer probably the most complete range of solutions for all your ventilation needs. Currently with 12 branches across the UK and trade counters facilities with vast stocks of ventilation products, you can be sure we are close at hand to deliver or collect items where ever you need them. Indeed we are are able to supply fans of every description including axial fans, centrifugal fans, roof mounted fans, bifurcated fans, mixed flow fans as well as a full range of commercial & domestic fans. We became part of the world wide Systemair group in 2004 and have continued to grow ever since in these ever changing market conditions. At F&S we have a very simple mission statement "We make it easy" with three key factors we focus on. Availability, making sure you get your product on-time and in-time with next day deliveries on most items. Established 1954
1973 Parts of the Woods group
1980 Fans & Spares joined with Supply Air Group to become the first national Ventilation distribution supplier in the UK
1982 Became part of the Air Movement Group which included Roof Units Group, NCA, Flowline & Viking AHU's
1997 Air Movement Group sold to Smith Industries which at that time included Vent-Axia, Baxi & Torin
2002 Fans & Spares Management buy out bring RS Cartwrights into the group.
2004 Fans & Spares aquired by Systemair AB Sweden. Brand names in the Systemair Group include:- Frico, Matthews & Yates, Villavent & of course Systemair.
